Kanye & Wayne Love Each Other
Ever since Lil Wayne signed with the same management company as Kanye West a few months ago, the two have created the appearance of a fellowship. Wayne announced that Kanye would be doing a bunch of Tha Carter 3 tracks (including “La La La” below), and when MTV recently put Wayne at the top of their Hottest MC’s list, no one threw a fit when Kanye got number three.
It seems like a strange match up, but I like West & Weezy together. Kanye is an uptight fashion victim, while Weezy is a laid back white-tee rocker. They balance each other well.
Of course, we mustn’t forget that 50 Cent is another super-ego rapper with an upcoming Sept 11 release, and he fucking hates to loose. Even though 50 isn’t saying anything about Kanye, he has no problem getting up in this action by cutting a lame-ass Wayne & Baby diss in hopes of creating some heat. I doubt anything will come from it, since the track is weak, and Wayne has a history of ignoring beef.
